In working with a new client project embedding videos, I decided to try SL2 and ran into what I think is likely a bug. When I insert MP4 videos, The video audio will play back, but the video frame (and the video images within it) do not play back. At first this happened in preview, then when I tried reloading the video, I could see it in preview, but it was gone again when I published the file. I went back to SL1 and the file loaded and played fine.
Has anyone else run into this issue or similar video issues yet within SL2?

I haven't heard of this issue yet, but it seems odd that it worked in publish but not in preview. I'm curious if you've looked to ensure that you're working with local project files and then try to also repair your install of SL2.
Does this happen with every MP4 file you've tried?
