Video not displaying after publishing

Hi all,

I recently published a storyline training and encountered the following problems:

When opening the shortcut named "story" in Internet Explorer via a network drive, the video within the training does not work. However, the sound works.

I tried to open the training with the shortcut name "story_html5" in Internet Explorer via a network drive, the video works (with worse quality). However, the sound does not work.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and does anyone know of a solution?

Hi Stan!

If you view published Storyline content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.

To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review this article for details.
