I have been asked to look into a problem for a user whereby when they insert a video into Storyline 2.0 it plays the sound but the video is a green screen, the same issue also occurs when they create a screen grab video within Storyline 2.0 and attempt to play it back within Storyline. The user posted the file and the video plays in Chrome but not in IE (as much as id like to move everyone to Chrome im not allowed) Any ideas what could be causing the issue within Storyline or IE?
Welcome to the community! I want to make sure the output is being testing in its intended environment. Viewing the published output on a local machine may cause security issues from the web browsers. I also want to verify that this is not being added as a web object with Jquery, as these will not work in Internet Explorer.
I published the file for web as it was already set up, and I am able to view the video on Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox without issue. Can you please test this published output here?
Hi we are running into this same problem. It happens when we play it from our learning management system and only with IE. can you tell me what was done to solve the problem above so I can see if it will solve my issue?

Hi Emily,
Attached is a file the user has tried to create as a test. Hope this helps explain it.

Hi Shawn,
Are you using the latest update of Storyline? There were some issues that we fixed as a part of Storyline 2 Update 7 which is available here.
