I am using Storyline update 5 to develop my elearning courses. In my module, I have 9 video pages. In iPad, if I play an video and moves to some other page and comes back video page the video resumes from where we left.
I want the video to play from the beginning every time I visit the page. Can any body help on this?
How have you inserted your videos within your slide? If you've enabled the video controls, it'll be separated from the slide's timeline and the user could replay it using the built in video controls.
If you're inserted it without the video controls you'll want to look at the slide's revisiting properties. Allowing the slide to "resume saved state" should allow you to pick up where you left off.
If you enabled the "show video controls" option, the video is not necessarily synced with the slide's timeline and therefore may play a bit differently than expected, especially due to loading times on the iPad.
You mentioned adding some triggers to it - and I'd recommend setting a "play media trigger when the timeline starts" to allow the video to play on everything revisit. If you're still having issues, can you share the .story file with us?
Thanks for sharing the file. I took a look at it and tested it in Chrome and then on my iPad using mobile Safari in iOS7. Both times, I was able to revisit the slide, and in Chrome the video automatically replays but in mobile Safari, the user will need to click the play button to start the video over again. I did not experience the iPad test resuming the video to where I left off though. What ipad and ios are you using?
I forgot to share a link to the version I published - it's available here at SCORM Cloud. Can you test this one out and let me know if it behaves differently?

Hi Ashley,
Thanks for your response. Please see my property settings for video and slide.
Following are the results:
In PC, as expectd video is playing from the begining whenever I visit the page.
In iPad, video is resuming where I left.
Expected result:
I need the video to be play from the begining whenever I visit the page (both in PC and iPad).
Alternate approaches I have tried:
Added Stop media, Play media triggers on the timeline start of the slide. But it didnt work.
Is this an issue in HTML5 output? Kindly do the needful to acheive this functionlity.

Hi Ashley,
I have attached my sample. Please check and provide your response.
Scenario to test:
Goto DEMO PAGE 1 in middle of this video, jump to DEMO PAGE 2 and come back to DEMO PAGE 1. Do this scenario vice verse between this two pages.
