Video size/length in SL3

If I want to insert a few videos into SL3, is there a limitation in term of the size or the length? what would be the recommendation in order for the course to function well in LMS?

Hi Catherine!

There isn't an set maximum video size or length in Storyline. If you run into trouble while importing the video, your system may not be equipped to process importing that large of a file into Storyline.

If that happens, you have a few options:

  • Break the video into shorter segments
  • Compress the video prior to inserting
  • Host the video elsewhere and import it as a web object
