Video timing/trimming

I have been given a number of WMV videos by microsoft to put into our training package. I  found that I needed to edit the intro & outro for each video. I need to do this while maintaining video quality and still keeping the playbar for each video. Any ideas?

I have not yet used articulate storyline but I will be using it at work and hope i could find out in advance if my task will be possible. 

I do not want a player for the whole module. I need each video to have its own player.


I have tried this in Adobe Captivate but I could not trim the video while keeping the individual video player.
