I was hoping that someone could help me with creating a variable that will stop a video from playing until the slide audio has completed playing. I want the audio on the slide to complete before the learner can watch and listen to the video. The video and slide audio are on the same layer.
I have tried mulitple combinations of variable and triggers, but nothing seems to be working.
Glad that you were able to get the assistance that you needed here Liliana!
I just wanted to pop in and let you know that replying to the forums via e-mail also attaches your signature, which you are welcome to pop in and edit if needed.
I have a similar issue. I have two audio clips on my first slide. The first audio clip says "Hi I'm blah-blah". Once users have gone to other slides and returned back to this home slide, I don't want to play the first audio at all. I set up a variable and that is changing correctly. I set up a trigger that says Stop Media- Sound 1, when variable is > 0. My variable is changing when the user goes back to the home slide, but the first audio clip is still playing.
Perfect Michele! Glad that you were able to get this sorted and thanks for popping back in to share your solution. Those variables and triggers can by tricky sometimes.

Hi Lily
you could place a transparent rectangle over the video controls that changes state to normal when the audio completes.
Thank you that is a great idea.
