video won't play in iPad version

I have an FLV video on a slide. The slide properties are set to "Resume Saved State". When I run the course on the pc the screen works properly. The video runs the first time, and every other time the video doesn't play (PERFECT)

The problem is that on the iPad, if I set the slide properties to "Resume saved state", the video never plays. If I set the slide properties to "reset to intitial state", the video will play. I even deleted safari cookies and history thinking there was a problem there. No luck. Any ideas?
