I have an icon that I want my learners to click to go to the layer to watch the video. However, my stakeholders would also like to use the next button too. But when I change it to show the layer with the next button, it goes to the next slide. What am I doing wrong?
I didn't see a progress bar. If you mean the seekbar, you can turn that on in the player. It says false because I put a textbox on to check the variable for testing purposes, and forgot to delete it.
Are you looking at including the video seekbar in addition to the player seekbar? I didn't see it enabled on your video files but it's described here if you're looking at turning it on. It's worth noting that it will disassociate the video from the slide timeline.
I don't think I'm explaining myself very well. I have a movie clip that the learner uses to go to the layer to view the movie. On the base layer, I want the next button disabled UNTIL the audio is complete. Then I want the learner to be able to use the next button to go to the layer to see the movie. So they learner can either push next or the icon to go to the layer.
When I looked at your file, I only saw videos on the layers not on the base layer. I see that your next button has the trigger to be disabled on the start of the slide timeline, but the button isn't set to normal till the user is on the layer based on your trigger. So you'd need to change the trigger to exist on the base layer vs. the slide layer where the video is.

It seems to me that this is very close to what you are describing.
