I have packaged my Articulate Storyline 2 project for the web (I am not publishing a HTML5 version). When I view it all of my videos work great, but when I email it to my SME (with the instruction to extract the content and view the ".html" file) the video is not showing up. Not even an image of it. I have tried publishing it as several types of video files to see if that would fix it, but that didn't work.
Hi, Sara -- So sorry to hear that you are having issues! Do you know if the SME is viewing the course on their local drive, by chance? As it mentions in this article on Publishing and Sharing Articulate SL content, "If you view an Articulate Storyline course on your local hard drive (or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive), you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail."
Please try uploading it into a web server, and let us know if issues persist. :)
