How can i best add a voice over to view mode slides? I would like to speak to the slides as they move but I cannot see how to add a voice over in this mode after I have captured my screen. Any suggestions are welcome!
You need to record your voice over and then insert those mp3 files into Storyline.
It'd probably be easier to sync if you record shorter clips that can be moved separately on the timeline. But you could also record your audio while previewing your view-mode slides.
Thank you! How do I record the audio while previewing view mode? Is it when I am recording the actual screen? I was hoping to add the recording after the screen capture.
Use whatever audio-recording software you're comfortable with to record the narration.
That should be possible while you're previewing view mode. It'll probably be a bit easier on you to start and end the narration recording a bit before and after you start and end view mode. Then edit out that extra audio.
Otherwise, as mentioned in my original comment, just record short clips, so you have multiple MP3s that you can cue up in the timeline.
In either case, test the timing of your script first, to ensure it'll fit with what's happening in view mode.
