The Articulate app that is a free download is very slow and sometimes stalls at the point of displaying an embedded video. Any suggestions? or is there any app upgrades coming out in 2016?
You cannot view Storyline files from a mobile device :(
Articulate Storyline makes it easy to deploy your content to learners with mobile devices. See answers to common questions about publishing mobile content here.
You can see a comparison of the output/features in the chart here.
Have you checked to see if you like the HTML5 version on your mobile device better?
When I published my file I selected LMS (we need a scorm file) and I checked all 3 boxes. Once published we placed a zip file with all files up on the server. I thought I read that when a user opens on their mobile device the correct file type is automatically launched but when tested the file plays slowly and the embedded videos crash the file.
Maybe we need to publish with web selected? any other suggestions?
Hi again Leslie. So now some iphones and androids are displaying correctly and others are not (same versions/OS/etc) are there certain settings on mobile devices that must be turned on? It seems to be the only answer as to why some would display and others not. Or can I send you the published zip file for your support team to review?
Hi Karen! You are welcome to share your project file with our team here if you wish. It would be beneficial to know what slides are behaving differently and even include screenshots if you can.
I have now published as HTML5 with better results but some mobile devices (esp IPhone) are not loading the file properly. They just get a blank storyline screen.
It looks like this content was created utilizing update 4.
You may find that slide content is missing when you view Articulate Storyline 2 HTML5 output on iOS 9 iPads and iPhones. We added support for iOS 9 in Update 7 for Storyline 2. See this article for details on how to update your Storyline software and your published courses.

Thanks the Html5 (not mobile device option) is better. We have it working now on everything but iphones. Does it not run on iphones?
It should still fall under the mobile specifications here.

If you go to this webpage - http://media.firstwestcu.ca/onboarding/ this is what is not loading on all mobile devices.
Attached is the file....can you please test?
