I have a simple action happening. When user clicks an image, it triggers layer 1 to show. I also have a trigger to change the state of the image to "visited" once user clicks that image. (I'm doing this so the user can visually see which ones they've already viewed by adding a check mark icon to the visited image)
However, once that visited state is active, the image is no longer clickable. That doesn't seem right to me. I didn't set it to "hidden" or "disabled." I still want the functionality so they can go back and look at the content again if they choose, but just want to add an indicator that it's already been viewed.
I also have a trigger to change the state of the image to "visited" once user clicks that image. (
Hi Karen
You don't need triggers if you are using SL built in states (Visited, Selected, Hover etc) in fact it can cause issues if you use them. Try removing the trigger and see how you go.
Are you slide properties set to 'resume saved state' - if so the objects would be in visited state when the user returns to it. If you want you can set the properties to 'reset to initial state' then it will be like they are visiting for the first time.
Thanks for the response, Wendy. I removed the trigger and it's still acting the same way. Slide properties are set to "automatically decide." I want the visited state to remain so the check mark is displayed... I just want it to also remain clickable after their initial viewing of that layer.
Maybe my first question should be: When a clickable item is set to "visited" state, does that automatically disable all it's functionality?
The item still displays the "finger" icon when I mouse over it, so it's confusing. It's acting like it should be clickable (without the hover image displaying) but is NOT clickable.
sample file attached. (Ensuring Patient Identification is the item I'm working on)

You are not hiding the layer you are moving everything off the screen but not closing the layer.
Try setting it to hide when animation completes for the line motion path 2
Thanks, Phil. That was it! yay.
Rookie mistake, for sure. Grateful for this Heroes forum once again. :) :)
