Visited State While Using Lightbox Navigation Controls

Jul 26, 2021

On a single slide I have several buttons that lead to lightbox slides. The user can either click on each individual button or they can click on the first button and then progress through the lightbox slides using the navigation controls. I want the buttons to change states when the associated slide is visited. That works when they click on the button and go to the slide but the button doesn't change states when the associated slide is visited by using the navigation controls. Is there a way to change the button to the visited state when the associated lightbox slide is visited using the navigation controls and not only when the button is clicked?

Hi Heidi!

Great question! You can create this using variables that change the states of the buttons on the initial slide. I've created a sample project for you that includes these variables.

In the project, click on the button "Slide One" and continue navigating through the lightboxes using the Next button. Close the lightbox at any time, and when returning the first slide, there should be buttons in the visited state that correspond with the slides already viewed.

Please take a look and let me know if you have additional questions!
