I do not have an update to provide at this time, but this conversation is attached to our report so that we can provide updates to you here.
Outside of traditional volume control on the device, I am not aware of a current workaround to adjust the volume while using a screen reader.

Fixed: When using a screen reader, keyboard shortcuts didn't adjust the volume slider or move focus between glossary terms.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360.
