Web Object partially works

I am trying to insert a web object into an Articulate player using Storyline ,but when publishing the web object its player shows but the video and images do not. The object is an HTML link from an internal server that hosts a player that matches slides to video. The video is WMV format and images are JPG.
The strange thing is when inserting the object in Storyline and previewing, the video and images work fine. The issue with loss of media comes when publishing.
