Hello Precede Systems,

Happy to help out!

Since embedded videos are hosted on third-party sites, users will generally have to manually play them if they would like to view those videos. From our article on adjusting video properties:

This option doesn't apply to website videos. Generally, learners need to click web videos to play them. Some browsers still allow web videos to autoplay (if the autoplay feature is enabled in your embed code), but the trend is for browsers to prevent media from autoplaying.

There are ways to modify embedded video code to include an autoplay tag such as the method described in this article which you can check out, but please note that this method is unsupported.

If you'd like for a video to manually play in your course, we recommend adding it as a video from a file instead if this is an option for you.
