I do not do alot of web output courses as we have an LMS. However, I need to create a course that may need to be available to an external company. My boss mentioned it would be nice to know if they are even taking the course.
If I publish as Web Output option (either RISE or Storyline), can we track/report without an LMS, essentially it would sit on one of our servers that is available for external access.
You might be able to pull some web analytics to determine how often the story.html file on your website is accessed. How you pull that info depends on your web hosting company. I suggest you contact your IT folks to find out what's possible.
