Weird performance on right align,

May 19, 2022

Hello all,

i have a really weird issue happening here.

I have an image on the bottom of my master slide (see master layout 3 ) that i'm trying to right align to the slide.  When I try to right align it, it throws it well off the slide.

any thoughts on what is going on.

Hello Ari,

Thanks for sharing your project file with us!

The reason why your image is not aligning close to the rightmost section of the slide is because Storyline 360 is allotting enough space in the slide for the states of the image to display properly. Here's a screenshot of what your image looks like when aligned to the right:

And here's what it would look like when the state of the image is changed to something else:

You'll notice that the rightmost section of the image is lined up with the edge of the slide. If you prefer to have the main image closer to the right, you'll need to move this image manually. Take note that this might cause the states of the image to get cut off when shown on screen.

Hope this helps!

Hello Avi,

Here's a recording that I made so you can see what happens when I try to align your image to the right side of your slide.

Using this as a reference point, I'd like to ask a few questions to help clarify your experience:

  • Are you seeing different behavior when you try to align your image to the right side of your slide?
  • Is this happening to only this specific image? Or are all images affected?
  • Are you able to move your image to the right, as shown in my recording? Or does the image get displaced to the right when you do?
