Quicktime MOV or MP4 is best, but uncompressed AVI is "bestest" as it saves you a compression cycle which results in better overall video quality.
Having said that, another option would be to export to MP4, import that to Storyline, and if you're not happy with SL's compression rate in the final output, just replace the video file in the output with your earlier MP4 file.

Or you can choose to not allow Storyline to compress the videos as detailed here when importing as an MP4.
