My boss and I recently created a training program and in the training there is text entry. We want to be able to view what the employee's entered, however, we have no idea where this entered text goes.
I know that when you publish the training via an LMS you can choose the option of reporting and tracking, but as far as I can tell the only thing you can track is the results slide, not the indivdual quiz slides.
Sort of, I actually did see that thread. And we had done all the steps Jeanette mentioned in that thread, but unfortunately we still can't seem to find the entered text, we can only see the pass/fail results when we run reports. The more I think it over, the more I believe it is our LMS that we need to work with, not Storyline. I just contacted our rep for our LMS so hopefully she can help. thanks!
Did you have any luck with this? I am relatively new to Storyline and am having a similar problem. I can't seem to find where the text is retrieved from.
Text Entries usually create a %TextEntry% variable. What you could do, is try reporting that variable to an LMS, if you're using one.
Though you may have already seen some of this information, you may want to take a look a the article below and see if the suggestions help with what you're wanting to accomplish:

Are you using an LMS for your course?
