I have been working on a e-learning module in SL2 that was imported from an earlier version of Studio which included a short quiz.
In this module, the learner is not supposed to be able to jump to the last Congrats slide without first taking the quiz and making a 100%. It seems this setting didn't port over, or is not enabled or something. After publishing this imported module, I can jump to the last slide after the quiz results page without having taken the quiz first.
How can I configure this?
I tried to look in the "Edit Result Slide" on the quiz results screen and didn't see any setting for this. Maybe you all can see here what is configured in triggers if it's something there that needs changing. I have no clue about that.
You can add a condition to the trigger on the next button as "jump to 1.24" on condition that the results.scorepoints variable is equal to 100. This should disable the next button unless they score 100% on the quiz.
Thanks. I will try that. Will this also prevent the learner from accessing the last screen when they simply try to click on the Congratulations menu item to try and skip all the content and jump to the last screen to report they went through the training? That's the main thing I'm trying to prevent.
If you have the navigation set to "free" in the player this will not restrict the menu. You can set the navigation to Restricted or Locked in the player options.
I will probably use the hiding the menu item or whatever you call it for that congrats screen after the quiz.
Here is the message that pops up in an older module another developer made in my company using Studio when I tried to click on that module's congrats screen menu item after the quiz slides:

Hi Emily,
I'm new to SL2 so is this the configurations you are talking about? I haven't studied up on how to do that but took a guess
Hello Brian!
You can do it that way, or also set it to equal Value, and type in the score they need as the value. Both would work in this case.
You can also use the results.scorepercent.

Hello Brian,

Hmm, okay. Well I wanted to have them be able to freely jump to all screens before the quiz. Anything after the quiz should be restricted.
Somehow this worked with how the other developers configured it in Presenter/Engage.
Hi Brian
you can also remove the slides from the menu that you don't want the user to access...
I am sure if other members have a way to do this, they will jump in with ideas!
Thanks for sharing Wendy!
I hope so Emily. Thanks for your help. Yes thanks for sharing Wendy. I appreciate this. I hope this thread's solution can help others as well.
