I do a lot of copying and pasting of navigational objects, and am really curious why, after I paste and the object is still selected (bounding box active, nothing else clicked), when I use my arrow keys to nudge them (since there seems to be no "paste in place" functionality), I wind up jumping between slides instead of nudging the selected objects. Is this a bug in my version? I'm completely updated.
There is selected, and there is selected. Sometimes the bounding space seems active, the handles appear and everything, but you still have to click on a bounding line to select the object. This is especially true for objects that are selected by choosing them in the timeline.
Yes, and this is what confuses me. I'm definitely not selecting them in the timeline, because I know the arrow keys will only move them in the timeline that way.
I just can't figure out why I can't always nudge things that are already selected since I've just pasted them... sometimes it works, sometimes I wind up in a whole other scene...!

Yes, it doesn't happen all the time, I just can't figure out what makes it happen at all...
Thank you Phil, I had no idea!
