Why isn't one of my text boxes appearing???
Nov 08, 2013
This one has truly stumped me... I have 3 text boxes appearing at different intervals in my slide. All the "eyes" are opened on the timeline, I can clearly see all the text written in both the text boxes on the slide and the matching items in the timeline... I have my text WITHIN the text box set to cues in my timeline... but for some bizarre reason, the very last line of text in my first text box DOES NOT APPEAR when playing or previewing this slide. I even deleted the original text box and redid it. Same problem. What the heck?? Please help!!

Wow, that is a strange one. One thing you can do to fix it is to delete the blank lines and change the spacing to 2.
No idea why it is behave the way it is though. It seems adding another character to the line makes it appear, but I can't say why
Hi Chrisanna,
Definitely strange, and Josh's suggest works, which is good.
I always have to ask, but you're working with local project files right?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "delete the blank lines." Do you mean instead of using the "Enter" key to put spaces between each line, change the actual spacing of the text? I'll try that and see. Thanks.
YAY!!!! The spacing thing worked. Thank GOD! I was seriously about to lose it. Lol... thanks, guys. You're the best.
Thanks for the update Chrisanna and glad you found some help here!
