Hi Abhinav,

I'm running both Storyline and Studio '09 on Windows 8. No issues, thus far. If you have any specific questions or concerns, just let us know.

Personally, I've really enjoyed Windows 8. The only issue I've had with it so far is a conflict with my old antivirus. So, I would double-check to make sure that all of your software is supported by the operating system.

Good luck!

Christine, you've commented a few times about using Windows 8 successfully with Articulate products and so you're really tempting me to install it on my laptop (I ordered the $14.95 upgrade about a month ago). If you're able to share here (I don't know if there are company rules regarding speaking out about other products), which antivirus program did you have trouble with? What were the issues? And how did you resolve them?

Good morning Rebecca,

I don't think it would be an issue to comment on it, really. I was using Avast when I installed Windows 8. I've used it for years and I've always liked it. The kicker was that I had just renewed my subscription, of course Great timing! The problem was that there was a conflict with Avast that was causing crashes, quite randomly actually. Finally found out the cause and uninstalled the AV, no problems since. I couldn't believe how many reports there were for the issue, as W8 had just been released.

I used the upgrade as well, as my machine was a recent purchase. It took a bit to adjust to Windows 8 from 7, but I'm really getting comfortable with it now. I won't claim I'm an expert... yet!

Hope you have a great day!

Tx for your response, Christine. I have Norton, provided for free by my IP, Comcast.

I've taught Windows classes for at least a gazillion years in a past life, and have been hired over the last several years to create tutorials in Camtasia for Windows and/or Office. I've been reading (and saving to Evernote) a lot of the article on Windows 8, but didn't want to be on the bleeding edge (cutting edge is good enough for me ) installing it and worrying about other apps, e.g., Camtasia and Storyline, working.

So, I'm lurking as y'all are reporting few to no issues with Win8. Watching Bruce's most recent experience as well.

You have a good day too!

P.S. sent this tweet out earlier today about Windows 8 and multiple monitors:
