Hi there. I used a wipe animation on one of my projects and the wipe animations work beautifully on Flash but when I view the HTML5 version none of the wipe animations work, they simply pop up and this doesn't work at all for the look I'm going for on this project. Anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance.
I have had this same issue. What do you recommend for publishing? If I publish with Flash/HTML5 is that a safer option where I might expect most of my viewers to see the correct animation? Thank you!
A little late to the party, but it should be noted that wipe doesn't work on Safari in iOS 11 either (haven't looked at earlier versions of iOS yet). The wipe animation is replaced by a fade.
No worries, you're welcome to the party at any time :)
I appreciate you popping in to share your findings. Mobile browsers do not currently support 'masking' animations in HTML5 and Wipe is one of those. So, when you run into one of those on a mobile device, Apple and Android, they turn to a Fade Animation. You can read more about that here.

Hi Erica,
Some web browsers have better HTML5 support than others. For example, masking animations (like Wipe) don't work in Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge.
What web browser were you using when you noticed this?

Hi Bethany,
Yes, that should help! As long as Flash is enabled in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge, learners should see the Flash output.
