WMF format graphics getting stretched when imported into articulated

Sep 22, 2019

I have converted the graphic into WMF file format and when I imported the same into Articulate that graphic gets stretched and fits to the screen. It should be in proportionate.

Please help me with this.

Sorry you're running into that, Sandesh!

.WMF is still a supported file type for adding pictures in Storyline, so we want to make sure everything is working as it should.

When I tried to insert a test .WMF file into Storyline 3 and Storyline 360 (both latest updates), the image did not load and only its adjustable border appeared. This behavior is a bug our team is currently looking into, and I'm curious if what you experienced might be correlated.

To help us dig deeper, could you let us know:

  • What version of Storyline are you using? You can find this detail by clicking on the Help tab, then About Storyline.
  • Any chance you grabbed a screenshot of the stretching? Also, what file format was the graphic before its conversion to .WMF?
  • Would you be willing to share a sample .story file with us? You can share it privately by uploading it here. We'll delete it after taking a thorough look!
