Hi, I am trying to create a drag and drop activity in Storyline where students will need to drag a certain set of items into the drop area first before dragging the other set of items in order to complete the activity successfully. I would like to write a condition to make this happen. Any ideas on how this condition should be built?
You could certainly do this with variables and conditions, but I think it might be easier to do so with states.
For example, you could set the initial state of all of the objects, with the exception of the object you want them to drag first, to disabled. This would keep learners from dragging the other objects. Now, you could trigger the state change of the next object to "Normal" when the first object is dragged on the target.
If you continue with that pattern, each object should "unlock" as learners progress.
