# Writing shell scripts in windows with .story files?

Hi guys,

I'm a linux user and I know that we can automate tasks and pipe the output of certain files to other programs and such so I'm wondering, since my co-worker requires quite a bit of work just copying and pasting from .doc storyboard files to her storyline course, has anyone ever been able to take advantage of windows power shell to write scripts that automate this process? Is it possible to work with .story  files through the windows shell at all?
