Hi Taylor,

Unfortunately, it's difficult to say.

The first thing I would do is check to make sure that all of the machines accessing the course meet the minimum viewing requirements for Storyline content:

If that doesn't fix the problem, it may help to know a little bit more about the machines, browsers, location and type of content your learners are viewing. For example, are they viewing a course through an LMS, web server, CD output, HTML5, Flash, etc.?

Thanks!

Right now we're in the testing phase and they are all viewing from a CD.

At this point, I have tried updating the browser (firefox), Flash and Java, but the videos still do not play.

Any idea what my next step should be? Do I assume that if it won't play on CD then it won't play when uploaded to the LMS?

Thanks!

Hi Taylor,

I believe that CD published content actually runs off of Internet Explorer - you might want to try updating this.

However, if you're actually launching from a burned disc, this will be a little different.

If you're running from the CD published output however, make sure that you're running from the .exe file, not the HTML file and make sure that the files are not compressed.

If you still have trouble, you're welcome to share the .story file here.

Thanks!
