YouTube video inserted as web object still not playing on iPad

Hi, I know this has been asked before, but it is a real problem. 

I inserted a YouTube video (not restricted) as a web object, published as HTML 5, but it's still not working on the iPad. It works great on Mac and Windows.

When the story opens, it seems like the video is going to work, (the video appears on screen, the play button is clickable, and the progress bar under the video shows like it's loading) but the video never actually plays. 

Any idea what I could be doing wrong?
