I have a question - whyZoomfunction does not workin browser window.Playeradapts tothe browserwindow, but thezoom function to enlarge player with content does not work.
I'm afraid that's not quite enough information. I'm not sure if you're referring to a zoom region that isn't functioning properly when you're viewing your course, or if you're trying to change the Story size of the project, or the browser window size.
Can you please provide some additional details, or maybe even screenshots of what's happening, please?
Ahh, so you're referring to the zoom feature of Internet Explorer, then.
Just curious, why would you want to zoom in using the web browser? I could see using this feature in the browser for small text, etc., if you're having trouble reading it - but not quite sure why you'd need to use this on a Storyline course.
Most web browsers zoom into the page content. This includes text, images, etc. However, if you're viewing Storyline's Flash output, it's not going to scale the same way as a web page.
If you need to make your course larger, you may want to consider changing the Story size of your course.
this funkcionality is without problen on course, whichI publishedearlier (exampleinCaptivate oriSpring).I have this problem only in Storyline published courses. Zoominandoutviarightmouse button is OK. Check it out.
I trieditonOpera,GoogleChromeandInternetexplorer browsers, withouta positive result with using zoomthrough themenu, justabove the rightmouse button. I also thinkthat it has been disabled by the developers.
I've been searching for a solution to my problem, and came across this thread. I have a similar issue: the Articulate Flash Player scales with browser zoom less than 100% but doesn't get any larger for browser zooms over 100%. That's fine, except my course has custom HTML content as embedded Web Objects. These do scale with browser zoom greater than 100%. The result is that the Web Object gets out of proportion with the Flash Player. Any ideas?
This is my first ever post!! I have to say that this forum is great and up until now I've always been able to find what I'm looking for. I'm fairly new to e-learning development and this is an insanely useful resource.
I wondered however if you have had any further success on this issue as I am looking for exactly the same thing?
I have a visually impaired learner who uses the zoom function in Internet Explorer to read text and when I publish from Storyline it only increases the border around the player. I've changed the settings in the player so that it fills the browser etc and when we use full screen it does increase again slightly, however I wondered if there was something I could do to enable zoom/magnification. Unfortunately, using a different browser isn't an option as our systems are pretty locked down.
Welcome to the forum, just a thought, could you create a separate copy of the story file, then change the story size to make it large and publish it, then have a link added into original course with a click here for a course for visually impaired learners button?
Thanks so much for your reply, it works brilliantly! And if I make it very large then other visually impaired learners can use zoom out. to make it smaller to suit their needs. Genius!

Hi Christine,
this funkcionality is without problen on course, which I published earlier (example in Captivate or iSpring). I have this problem only in Storyline published courses. Zoom in and out via right mouse button is OK. Check it out.
Vojto
I expect it has been disabled by the developers, flash content can be messed up using zoom
just noticed it works fine in safari though, so probably not disabled
Hi Phil,
I tried it on Opera, Google Chrome and Internet explorer browsers, without a positive result with using zoom through the menu, just above the right mouse button. I also think that it has been disabled by the developers.

I have tested mostly in IE and Google Chrome.
Hi Paul and welcome to Heroes!
You may also want to look at the browser and player settings you've enabled as described in this tutorial.

Hi Donna,
