When I am adding a zoom region, it appears to impact my audio on the slide...basically pushing the audio apart and throwing off the alignment of sound and screen. Any suggestions on how to avoid this? Also, is there any way to do a zoom on a different shape...not just a square? Thank you!
Thank you for the response, Ashley. It was only happening with a certain project - and I had broken my audio into smaller segments. When I tried using the Zoom on a slide with one continuous audio file, it did not cause a problem. What about the shape question...can I zoom in without sticking to a square shape?
I've only seen the square shape including within Storyline, but I wouldn't be surprised if a community member had created a different method that I hope they're able to share here with you.

Hi Kate and welcome to Heroes!
I just tried this on my own Storyline file - and the audio continued playing as normal, and this does sound like odd behavior. I'd want to check that you're working with local project files? Does this happen in every Storyline file or just a particular one? If it's the latter you could try importing it into a new project to see if that resolves the behavior. If it's happening with every file, I'd start with the repair steps.
Please let us know how it's behaving after checking into those.

In the meantime, please feel free to also request different shapes in the form of a feature request.
