I am adding zoom regions to a screen recording that has audio. When I pause the video to adjust the zoom region and hit play without starting from the beginning, the video lags and the zoom region appears to be incorrectly timed. However, when I start the video from the beginning, everything lines up perfectly. This is annoying! How can I edit zoom regions without having to watch the video from the start every time I make an adjustment to ensure that the timing is right?
I know that the timeline play button vs. the entire slide/course preview has been something discussed here in ELH for some time. It's also something that we've discussed among our team and are always looking into the ways in which it can be improved.
In the meantime, have you looked at previewing the slide and video and inserting cue points? You could use those to then insert the zoom regions at particular spots, and preview the whole thing at once again?
