I was wondering can I adjust the zoom % ie I don't want the zoom region to fill the slide.
I have inserted a zoom region on a slide and I want it to zoom in on a Tab on a dialog box but I don't want it to fill the slide - I would like it to zoom in say 50-75%.

Short answer - no.
"Zoom" is precisely that - it is not "magnify" - it zooms to the same dimensions as the slide is built.
I am hoping, so very much...that a magnify (as you describe) will be included in v2, I for one have requested it.
This screenr from Dave might provide an alternative way around the issue you are having?

Not quite sure if Dave’s screenr will work for what I am trying to achieve but I will give it a good go…
