Adding audio to a paragraph and highlighting sentences
May 25, 2016
I was encouraged to include what I just did in this area. I needed to have a paragraph that highlighted each sentence as it was being read. So I made a different state for each sentence in the paragraph (named the state sentence 1, next one was sentence 2, etc.) Each state had the sentence highlighted and was bold. (Thanks for ideas from other members). Then I took my audio and edited it into the different sentences and named each audio, sentence 1 audio, sentence 2 audio etc. I then made triggers to connect the states with the audio and made sure that the audio started when the last one finished. The same with the states. It seems really smooth to me. What do you think?

Really nicely done, Leonora! Thanks so much for sharing this demo with the community. Nice work with the narration, you have a very calming voice :)
Cool idea, Leonora. I published your example to make it easy for people to view: http://articulate-heroes-authoring.s3.amazonaws.com/Community/LeonoraBularzik/story.html

Thank you both very much. It's nice to get a pat on the back :)
