I am wondering what are some new-age methodologies to provide a walk through on the features of an application? As against traditional simulations created using Captivate or Storyline, has anyone tried games or other interventions? If yes, can you share some of these examples? How effective have they been? In my case, the audience in question will be organizations/users who have bought the product.
WalkMe is a popular tool for teaching users how to use software. I've never used it myself as the designer, but I have used it as an end user and I think it's pretty neat. It's typically a nice subtle walkthrough that users can exit out of if they already know what they're doing.

Thanks Allison. This is something new for me - would definitely love to explore it.
