Building a sortable data base or library of resources in Rise

Feb 18, 2022

I have created a course on virtual team building and now want to provide a library of team building activities.  I will have 50+ activities some with links, others with directions.  Ideally I'd love a sort/filter feature but just the data base alone would be fine.  I am open to making it in storyline then importing to rise or directly in rise.  Thank you in advance

Hi Roxanne! That’s a great idea and would make a fantastic resource! I think it’s possible to build something like this in Rise 360. Although there currently isn’t a sort/filter feature (feel free to submit a feature request here), you can create lessons with the different categories, so you don’t end up with 50 separate lessons. That way, the activities are organized by topic. If you do go this route, it might be a good idea to clearly name the activities within each lesson to something like Activity: Name so it’s easy to distinguish between each one throughout a lesson. Also, by giving each activity a name, you can also make the content searchable for learners, which might be useful. Just an idea!
