I have a course that is being translated into several different languages. The current English version has CC text (in English). It looks like I can export the CC text into a .vtt file. The issue here is that I am not sure that the translation company the client hired can even open these types of files or know what to do with them. Thoughts on an easy way to get the CC translated?
I would suggest you contact the translation company directly to talk about the best strategy of translation and re-import. Include the client in the meeting to make sure they understand the issues at hand. Hopefully the translation company is well-versed in this format. If not, it is on the client to make necessary adjustments.
