Changing the State of a Button

Hi All!
I am trying to change the state of my buttons (shapes) to change color after the viewer has visited the slide. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get it to change color after I have visited the slide. I was wondering if anyone could provide some feedback on what I need to do to fix this? My second question is how to make sure the viewer doesn't visit the slide more than one time? Any and all help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Hi Kasey
see updated file - I only worked on the 'Be Friendly' object.
On the main slide I adjusted your trigger to when timeline starts not when variable changes
On Be Friendly slide, I changed the order of your triggers.
Hope that helps
