Keeping State as "Visited"
Apr 25, 2016
So I'm clearly having some kind of brain fart, but I'm struggling to understand why my object won't stay in its "Visited" state after clicking on it.
I set up a "Hover" trigger so the state of my object changes to a different color when hovering, and also set up a "Visited" trigger so my object changes to yet another color after clicking on it. Why, though, does my object revert to its original color after clicking on a different object on the same slide? That is, why does it not stay "Visited"?
Thanks for your help! I'm very tired today.

Hard to tell, without seeing the .story file, but I'll take a guess.
If your object has a state named "Visited", it also has built-in triggers that are invisible to you that cannot be changed. If you have created a trigger to change the state to "Visited", it is likely that your trigger and the built-in triggers are in conflict. Same with the "Hover" state.
Try deleting your triggers and see if the built-in ones do what you want.
Do you by any chance branch to a different slide and come back to this slide? If yes, on the lower right, click the Settings (gear icon) and select "Resume saved state" on the When revisiting field.
