So like part of a computer or something? You might start brainstorming ideas around labelled graphics interactions -- those classic Engage interactions (or something like it) come to mind.
If you would post an image that's sort of like the hardware you have to treat, I'm sure we can help you even more. --Daniel
Thanks for your feedback, Unfortunately I can't share an image cause its confidential, but think of explaining the inside hardware of a machine such as a printer. I would like to highlight every part and electronic board inside and give an explanation on it. This is in general my intention.
Another idea, if you are using Storyline, is to have a slider interaction
that allows you to slide through different perspectives of the machine.
Basically, you would take a whole bunch of pictures in an ordered
progression. On each layer, you could use callouts for the pieces you
wanted to highlight. If you need, I can dig up some examples the Heroes
have created.
Yet another idea, if you can do video, is to give a video tour of the
inside of the machine. Probably need a video pro to make this work,
however.
Meital - as others have mentioned, the slider approach with call-outs and interactions along the slider path might be a good approach. See this example in 360 review.

I had created this interactive element (see the fifth example here) as part of a hardware course.
Michael, thanks for sharing, that's a great example and exactly what I try to achieve.
If someone else have more examples for more inspiration, it will be highly appreciated.
Tx!
