I'm hoping someone can help me here. I am creating a course that mimics a system that we will be launching. What I want to do is have agents enter data on one slide (or layer) and have that data that was entered appear on another slide (or layer). Can this be done, I'm thinking yes.
But in case you didn't get it... the answer is YES. Insert a text entry control. This will capture the user's input to variable. To see the variable's content, add a regular text box (anywhere in a course) and enter the name of the variable surrounded by % signs. (for example %UserName%)
Attached is a file with several examples of 'dynamic' text created this way.

Hey Robert - I sent you an email. :-)

That's exactly what I was looking for, Thanks
One more, what about drop down boxes, is that possible too to mimic my system? The slide would require some data entry and some drop down options
IMO, the best way to mimic the system is to record yourself doing something and posting it as a 'try' recording.
See updated file - scene 2.
Thank you
