I am looking for ideas on how to simply and visually demonstrate the value of using training materials created by an instructional designer (versus team members using SOPs and shadowing to train each other). Does anyone have any suggestions on what simple graphic might be effective to include on a presentation slide to an audience with limited understanding of the value of instructional design? Thanks for any feedback!
This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but in the last section of this article I talk about why ID is important. I thought I'd share in case explaining it this way could be helpful!
Hopefully other community members have some other ideas to help you out here.
Have you ever seen the commercials (or in-store demos) showing older screen capabilities refreshed with new technology (like 4k)? Only takes a second but you can see a big difference in the picture quality. Maybe incorporate something along those lines.
