Different quiz questions based on location of the learner

Jul 06, 2015

Hi all. I love this forum. I can always find the answer to any confusion I've had, but this time I'm stumped.

My client is in both Canada and US.  After they take the e-learning, they have to complete a separate 25-question Assessment, and must score 80% to pass.

There are 4 questions that are very important, but need to be tailored for each country, since there are regulatory issues.  I created Canadian/US layers for some slides in the content and had them click on their country on a North American map to see their own material, but I can't get this to work with quiz slides.

I can have the 4 questions repeated in different paths, but then the total questions would be 29, impacting their score.

Any thoughts?

Thanks Michael. It's the exact same issue with very different key words.

It doesn't look like there was a simple solution though. I'll dig through
that thread and see if any of the links show me what I need. I'm an outside
vendor, so changing anything in the Javascript that might impact my client's
LMS would be tricky. I'm doing the build, but they plan on doing ongoing
maintenance if key facts in the content change.

Thanks again!

Linda

Hey Linda,

Are the questions fairly similar? If they're multiple choice or similar, as long as you keep the correct answers the same, you can just change the state of the answers depending on the variable. If one question has more answers than the other, then you can just change the state of one of the answers to "hidden" based on the variable.

I've included a file to show what I mean.
