I am trying to create an assessment question that has 12 choices and 3 options.
The 3 options are repeated amongst the 12 choices. However when i preview the slide, all the 12 choices and their matching 12 options appear. I only want those 3 options to appear in the drop down list since they are repeated.
the built in matching drop down is a one for one relationship - so each choice needs a corresponding match. You'd probably need to build a custom one for your requirements or use a different quiz type

Not really - do you have a sample file you could upload - then people might be able to recommend a solution or an alternative way of doing it.
