I have a course which has circles that have text which is revealed for hover/select states and I just want to indicate to the learner that the information is there. Does anyone have any good methods of doing this?
I've also thought of using a character popping up or some sort of tool tip or lightbox but not sure what the best options are. Want to present the various options to my client tomorrow then propagate across my stories.
I darken the slide (using a semi transparent black rectangle), then briefly show touch markers (hands, taps etc) over the clickable elements. The whole effect is 2'' long at most, so it's a no frills alternative.
Alexandros would I be able to see an example of this?
I thought of something similar but I have two different solution
requirements
1- User clicks on icons to reveal text
2- User is presented with info to read and when they have completed reading
they click on slide elements as navigation to next slide.
I think your solution would work for the first case.

Thanks for the idea Matthew.

Markers might also be a viable option.
Going with the pulse feature and also a little bar with a mouse icon & instructions that disappears when the user interacts with the buttons.

Give me about 10 minutes, I just removed the demo that used this. I'll let you know when it's up again.
And here it is.
