I'm wondering if there is a way to change the state of a shape on a menu slide to indicate the user has completed that section. I have included the menu slide i'm working with. Each of the squares on the left links to a scene. When the user comes back to this slide i'd like the button to change state to indicate they have completed that section. Is this doable somehow?
This does help yes, except in my course, the user clicks on the rectangle, goes to a scene and views multiple slides. What would be trigger details for that situation?
Put the trigger to adjust the variable to true on the final slide of the topic. You can set that it changes when timeline starts on that final slide, or if you want them to listen to audio, trigger to change it when media completes.
If you're still stuck, perhaps upload your story file - easier for someone to help if they can see your setup.
Great suggestion! i've attached my story file here. I also want a trigger when the learner has viewed all the scenes they can go to the conclusion scene. Thanks for your help with this!
I've set up all the triggers and variables for you but it doesn't seem like you have your jump to which scene triggers set up on the menu buttons. Perhaps if you finish the navigation, then check the flow and let me know how you go.
Thank you so much! Yes, I don't have all the triggers set up completely for the scenes. I'm still working through all of that. I really appreciate your help and i'll definitely let you know. Thanks!

Hi Diana
see attached. I've done a colour change with an icon for the completed state so you can see and used variables to control it.
Hope this helps
