eLearning Board Game with leader board
Aug 12, 2016
This time I have created an eLearning board game in storyline 2. The main goal of this game is to make learning fun. Here, I have added multiple questions related to sea foods and oceans.
What Technique I used to create this board game.
GIF
The best thing about this game is I have used GIF images to make it more attractive and live.
States
States is the main key of this game, I used multiple states of frog. As per the dice number, a different state shows up.
Variable
I have used multiple variables as shown below.
JavaScript
I have used JavaScript for the random number that generates on each dice roll. I added this script to show a different dice number when player rolls it. I have also used JavaScript to display the TOP 10 High Score Leader Board. You can learn about this here.
Leader Board
I have added a leader board to display the 10 highest scores. I took the idea from this post. I hope you will enjoy and score high to fit in the top 10 list.
Animation and Sound effects
We all know that Animation and SFX gives the realistic feel and makes the content more interactive. So, I have added animation and SFX in this game.
I referred the following sites to create this example.

Hi Amar, really cool game. Winner sound at the end of the it may be cooler. Thanks for sharing.
Amar, as usual another great work. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Ridvan and Joanne for appreciating my work :)
Great work Amar!
Thanks Sajna :)
Nice Work Amar!
Well done! Finally a game that has a compelling story (why we are playing the game) to it--to save the frog! A more detailed story (with an antagonist against which to fight) would have added to the engagement a bit.
Thank you so much Vicki... i am glad that you like my game :)
Hey Amar, Very cool game! Great use of the JS code that our Bro James shared. Love to see developers extending their skills.
