eLearning & ID MeetUp in Sydney

Hi,

Here's an open invite to all E-Learning Heroes to put your underpants on the outside and whoosh on down to our Sydney based eLearning MeetUp.

We're a community of over 350 instructional designers, trainers, eLearning developers, HR managers and people interested in improving the quality of training and learning. There's a mix of people from industry, academia, training providers and eLearning companies; from junior to very senior.

There are no recruitment agents. We try to avoid vendor pitches, though we're always looking at new tools. We want enthusiastic people willing to share.

The monthly MeetUps are themed, aim to give people something that they can takeaway and use, and are pretty social too. May 2015's meet, inspired by a discussion in this community, is "Spicing up Boring Content". We've all had to do it - now it's time to share our techniques.

This isn't a money-making venture. I charge a nominal $10 to cover refreshments (yes, you can have a beer or a wine) and to control numbers. Some events are free. I rely on the brilliant spirit of cooperation in Sydney's learning community for hosts, so the meet moves venues all the time.

So, if you're in Sydney, or your super powers enable you to travel faster than a speeding bullet all the way to Australia, then come on down.
